Morgan Hoesterey - Message in the Waves
Midway Atoll is a collection of three small islands in the North Pacific, about halfway between the U.S. and Asia, and one of the remotest places on earth.
It is located near the apex of the Pacific Garbage Patch, a swirling soup of millions of tons of plastic pollution. The islands are covered with plastic garbage, illustrating on several levels the interconnectedness and interdependence of the systems on our finite planet.

Great Video, So sad it’s amazing when she lines up all the small plastic items the visual is impressive. I wonder what can be done? It’s heartbreaking to see these poor innocent birds dying at our hand.
